The Commune of Meymac to the chance to have on its territory the climax of Corrèze and the Limousin. Formerly covered of heath, the site was planted coniferous tree by National Forestry Commission in years 1930/1940. The storm of 1999 released a splendid panorama on the mounts of Auvergne. The Forest Trade-union grouping of the MT-Bessou, associating the Department and the Commune, decided to privilege the tourist development of the place by the installation of a panoramic tower which gives access the item 1000 and the creation of two paths of discovered “of mushroom” and of the “granite”.
